Some great tips. I was there about 10 years ago on a weekend trip and missed out on the Duomo and the Museum due to the amount of people stood outside waiting to go in. Need to go back one day with some better planning and a tour guide to complete the task and also enjoy again this magical city.

Don’t take anything you’re not prepared to lose. There are many pickpockets and they are very very good at it
Like I said in the beginning of the episode, it’s a pickpocket capital of Europe. With that said Travel is not for fearful people. Being aware and prepared is a better strategy than paranoid. I know plenty of travelers who have successfully traveled to Barcelona without getting pickpocketed.

I haven’t been but like everyone is saying go there early in the morning, with this “1” day, i don’t think it’s possible to getaway from the crowd is it? The metro is the easiest way to get to Piraeus. I just did it last week.
Good for you. But easiest is a matter of an opinion. For example if you have a bunch of luggage and elderly grandparents, you are probably going to want to take a taxi from Central Athens. Thanks for the comment

The Cathedral is free. You don’t need a ticket but there is a separate entrance for those with tickets to the Duomo attractions to skip this walk up to line.

atleast write the names of the restaurants on the screen that yo uare saying,. Very hard to understand by your voice what is the name of the restaurants. Not even in the description I see any list,. Why do you create such videos.

I am finding it very difficult to find accommodation for a family (teenage children 20 & 17). I am looking near Central Station and the Grachtengordel districts but not the red light area. I am wanting that Amsterdam feel with a canal and view out the front and cafes around. Mid-range price under $1,840 euro all up. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated
